SVT666

If you don't agree with any of my selections, Quote the post and make a change in RED.? Once all the changes are done by the end of the day tomorrow, I will create the polls on Monday (I'm busy all weekend).  Remember that this is for 2007 cars, not 2008.  G37 is a 2008 I believe.

NomisR

Add Lotus Elise for Sport/Vert under 50k and Lotus Exige S for over 50k.

Pagani Zonda F for both GT and Sports car

TSX, TL-S and G35 for Entry Luxury

Miata and Rx8 for sport/vert under 30k

This will be difficult to do. With only three or so cars in each category cars like the Camry and Mazda6 will be left out.
And how can the MX-5 or RX-8 not be in the below $30K?

I have to make it 3 because otherwise the winner could have 6 votes and the other 5 or 6 could have a total of 20.  I have to narrow it down to 3.

Hemi, you have to give us longer to come up with choices for the seperate categories. We don't need to finnish this in a day. You're slapping together a contest and calling it "CarSPIN Awards" before a lot of members have even seen the thread and had their say.

Depending on price, that could be a good deal.

Tave

And here's a suggestion: If we're serious about this, ask Dan to make this thread a sticky and have it redirect traffic to Head to Head. Make individual threads for each category in that forum and allow members to vote for whatever car they want that fits into the given class. Limiting it to three choices is dumb, because you'll be forcing people to vote for cars they don't think deserve the award.

And forgive my whoring, but where are the Subarus?

The Tribeca has one of nicest interiors, and as for the Leggie and Impreza/WRX/STI, they're all great cars.  Also, I agree with Tave.
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

It gets pretty much the same or worse performance and fuel economy.

I made it three choices because you could end up with 12 cars in one category with the winner getting 6 votes.  But if 3 is too little for you, then I'll add more.

Ok.  I didn't think it would take long for people to make their suggestions, but I guess I was wrong.

SVT666

This is NOT for 2008.? The 135i, G37, R8 etc. are 2008 cars.? The Ford GT was discontinued after 2006 was it not?? If I'm wrong about that one, then I will most definitely add it back in since I think it deserves to be in a couple categories.

What's wrong with the DB9? Sure it may not have the porportions of past cars but there's not many cars currently for sale that look as good as it does.

It's already on the road.

The Koenigsegg CCX is sports, not GT, IMO.

I think the GT category is irrelevant anyway.  We already have Sports Coupe, which is the same thing.
