I'm going to buy a tube radio so we can huddle round it and, by the light of a single candle, listen to President Obama's fireside chats.

Even if it's getting kind of old I still think the Mazda3 is the best.

After you wake up with the sun at 6am on someone's floor, coughing up cigarette butts and tasting like warm beer, you may well change your opinion on this matter.

I live where it snows.  That should be all the answer to this thread that I need.
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

3, but I haven't driven one yet. I have a test drive lined up when I get back to Canada.

I drove a Rabbit and loved it, so that's a close second. I can't get past the stunning looks of the 3.

YAY mazda 3. hopefully my next car. i am a college student on a budget, seems appropriate.

CJ

The VW Rabbit is a better choice than the 3.  Reason?  It's cheaper.

Since when?

CJ

Uh, always.  It starts at a lower price and has more features.  A very nicely equipped model is just about $18,000.  A base 3 5-door is $18,250.

2o6

The Mazda 3 also doesn't have a Weight issue.

And a base 3 4-door is $13,795.

Mazda3 5 door weighs 2930 with a manual transmission.  Because a Rabbit 5 door is 3072 pounds.  3 door is 2975.  Not really a huge difference.

Well, this year was the only shot the Impreza had of winning and it failed miserably.  The new model doesn't have a shot.

The standard Impreza has never been a comparison winner anyway
