Gas barely broke $3.00 around here throughout the summer. :praise:

That's because you live in the middle of nowhere!

We've been all over the map here.  I've paid $3.50 and $2.90, for 93.

That has little to do with it, I think you're gas is about the same price as mine and you live in a suburban area and I live in a rural area. In fact, gas tends to go down the closer to big cities you get, at least in my experience.

Of course I am.

That's why I put the exclamation point.  I don't usually use that form of punctuation unless I'm being lighthearted.

I thought so. :praise:

It occurred to me, however, that you may not have remembered my move from New Mexico. If you had been referring to NM, you would have been 100% correct.

I did forget!  But then when you said something, it occurred to me that you might have moved.  You're not in St. Louis now, are you?  I couldn't remember where you were.

I don't post as much as I used to, so I figured you may have forgotten.

I'm not in St. Louis, but the oldest son is there for medical school as of a week ago.

As for the rest of the family, we moved out to Knoxville, home of:

Raza

Oh yeah.  You know you've made it big when you have a major sports team.

And it's Johnny Knoxville's hometown.

Exactly! I've also learned that anything with a "ville" on the end is pronounced "vull."

Congrats bro.

Nope, but interestingly enough, his girlfriend is going to WashU for PT school. Supposedly it's one of the best.

He's actually at SLU, and so far he loves it. As you can tell from my signature, we're huge Cardinals fans, so that helped a lot.

WashU is an excellent, excellent school. I applied there for med school, but ended up at Columbia.

Well, it's good to know that I'll have somebody there to support me financially when I'm old and retired.

Thanks for the well wishes, by the way. :praise:

Do you remember the Simpsons episode that included a minor league baseball team called the Albuquerque Isotopes? Well, the folks down in Albuquerque thought it was a great name, so they are now officially known as the Isotopes.

Well, I know you scientists and your molecular humor, that's why I thought it was a joke.

I thought Isotopes was the Springfield team, playing off the nuclear plant?

I try to avoid lame humor at all costs.

And I think you may be right about the Isotopes being from Springfield in that episode. Maybe Albuquerque was mentioned in passing. In any case, they adopted the name. They were formerly known as the Albuquerque Dukes, which makes more sense given that ABQ is known as "The Duke City."

There was an episode where they almost moved the team from Springfield to Albuquerque.

Sometimes cities do weird things.

Philadelphia elected John Street.  More than once, I think.  And he's crazy.
