When it's tuned properly, it's actually decent, but it has a ton of chassis flex.

Bit it still can be tuned well enough for some seriously spirited driving.

However that alone: even in combination with some Saab badges and a center console ignition key does not make it a Saab.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

But seriously, look at its competition.  It's fully loaded at $45kish.  It's competition is the BMW X5 3.0, the Porsche Cayenne V6, ML350, Acura MDX, etc.  0-60 in a little more than 5 seconds, tire-melting speed, an exhaust note to die for (the TB SS sounds amazing).  It's probably worth it with the extra Saab insulation and tuning.

If they could engineer a WRX to be an almost proper Saab, I think it's possible with the Trailblazer.
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

She'll hate diesel passenger cars, all things Ford, and fiat currency.  They will masturbate to old interviews of Ayn Rand an youtube together.
You can take the troll out of the Subaru, but you can't take the Subaru out of the troll!

I don't.

Now, I do think they can make it a damned good vehicle.

But I think they really should just put a Chevy or a GMC badge on it.

What do current Saabs have in common with jets other than a central key and driver-centric layout?  Would the 9-7x be better with the 6 speed auto?  Absolutely.  Will it make of break the SUV?  Probably not.

Will it is GM's current Saab marketting slogan, so it's a fair question.

Champ

Saw this SUV at the Saab Owners Convention this last weekend in Detroit, and it is a shame it looks just like the regular 9-7x, the only way to distinguish is it says AERO on the back badging.  Sadly no testdrives :(
