IIRC, he ha a GLS.

True. He has a sunroof, which = GLS. I'm still thinking of Hyundai where the GLS is the base and GLX is the better one.

Hyundai has no GLX.  It goes GLS, SE, Limited.  Or GS, SE, and GLS.  Or GLS and Limted.

That's it.

According to my magazine, the 2002-2004 Sonata came in GL, GLS V6, and GLX V6.

I guess the roll cage makes sense.  That wing generates s00per G's in the corners, and the autobox helps him to concentrate better.  It's good to have the safety net though.

That, and judging by those air scoops, he did a mid engine swap.

I rather like it. The Wing and front bumper look to be stock from the Celica GT-S.

Sigma Projects

the spoiler is stock for the GTS, but the front bumper has waay too much lip, the side skirts are kinda like a GTS, but a bit different. if he didn't have the side schoops and blue painted interior i'd really like it, those 7th gen celicas were really light. And if he had the GT spoiler it would suck to use the rear view mirror, having it higher up is actually nice for those cars. I cut off a truck in a GT model because the spoiler blocked out his head lights at night and I couldn't see him.....

Madman, that's called  a "bubble" because of its roundish shape from the 1990s.  Lifted cars on massive rims are called donks, boxes, and bubbles.  They're all donks, but a 1980s lifted Caprice, for instance, is a box.

It's a new car culture that started somewhere near Miami.

Yep! My ex girl was in Miami back in 2003 and she called me taking about these cars with big ass wheels. I blew her off because big wheels were the norm (20"-22" back then)around here. But when I saw the pics she took I was blow away! Lifted Impalas and Cutlas with 26" rims.

It's kind of a cool idea.  I think the lift kit is awesome, but I'd rather put on some 15" steelies with 31" BFGs.  That would be awesome on a Caprice!   :mask:

I need to get a picture of a Civic coupe in Pittsburgh.  It's yellow, has 986 headlights, E46 tail lights, a massive spoiler, and a body kit.  It's the sort of obnoxious that just makes this thread worthwhile.

Saw a perfect example for this thread yesterday. I was on my way home from a car show and dinner at Quaker Steak. I passed this civic with disastrous body kit, huge wing, super ugly graphics (just stickers and they were peeling), the mandatory fake fender ports, and of course coffee can exhaust. Sadly I didn't have enough time to snap a picture.
