Yes, there?s a little Porsche Cayman there, and the Artega GT does have a 3.6-liter Volkswagen-sourced V-6 engine, so there is sort of a link to the family. But the styling, penned by Henrik Fisker, is cleaner than a Cayman. Fisker is, after all, the man responsible for much of the current look of the Aston Martin portfolio. Hardy Essig, a former Porsche engineer, helped develop the drivetrain.

Not sure how to take that... or why they would go with a friggin V6 over the melodic, low-polar-inertia, balanced flat-6 the Cayman came with. It also looks very narrow. In any case I am all for this guy's designs, his cars are always beautiful. Should also be interesting to see his foray into the performance realm.

I don't care for the headlights or taillights, but otherwise a very nice shape. Side profile looks great.

The front end looks like a cross between a 360 Modena and a Carrera GT. The back end from the side profile screams Audi R8. I think overall it's nice looking, but I still think the Exige is 100% hotter.
