So my cousin came to visit

And he brought with him my ex and my sister's ex 1999 Toyota Camry

It's in SUCH shit shape it's not even funny. It got rear-ended on the 3/4 panel and my cousin accidentally put on the body panels for a 2000-2001 Camry, so the trunk is now misaligned

And he's driven it into his mom's 1998 Corolla so the front bumper's messed up

And I swear I got a bit upset when I saw the shitty way my old "pride and joy" has been treated

But the odometer's at 293,000 as of this morning.

That's unfortunate.  Kinda looks like my Honda!

Car isn't in that bad of shape, dude.   My first two cars had their share of battle wounds (worse than that car) when I got rid of them, and the Honda had some bumper cracks and stuff like that going on.

The trunk lines up well enough, the only real giveaway is the wider tail light on the passenger side quarter panel.

Oh, and is that Hemi's truck in the background of pic no. 3?

After you wake up with the sun at 6am on someone's floor, coughing up cigarette butts and tasting like warm beer, you may well change your opinion on this matter.

Hah, the exterior is in better shape than my TSX.

Guy across the street. If you look in the background in the last pic you can see my Trep and minivan in the drivewya. He had an Alero too, so I thought it may be Hemi at first, months ago on the forum.

Oh and if you see in the first and second pics, there's a barely visible white scrape about the size of my thumbnail on the bumper, directly below the license plate. That's where I closed the garage door on it back in 2003 when I was driving it (was my mom's at the time) without a license.

The car doesn't look that bad to me. Perhaps the dark color and the lighting disguise the damage.

Just putting it from the driveway to the garage.

It's not. I got to drive a Maruti 800 around a bit when I was 10 or 11 in India.

My dad let me drive his 1980 F-250 when I was 10.  Of course we were on a dirt road, but I was still 10.  He worked the pedals and I steered because I couldn't reach the pedals and still over the dash.

In Alberta you can get your learner's license at 14.

Nice, I was about 11 when my dad let me bomb around dirt roads for the first time. I was tall enough to reach the pedals though, so I did the steering and footwork while he moved the gearshift for me (and told me what to do of course; at that age I hadn't a clue WTF the clutch pedal actually did, I just pushed it down when he told me to :tounge:).

By the time I was 13 I could do it myself.

It's not too bad, though I'm proud to say that it looks worse than my car, other than that it's seriously in need of a washing.
