There was a time when very few small cars had power steering as standard equipment, but you're probably not old enough to remember that.

Eh, the base level Civics and the CRXes didn't have them (or need it, for that matter.) Did you think it needed PS?

POwersteering would have made autocross and parking a bit easier, but no, it's not necessary.

Umm I'm used to driving power-steered cars so it felt very stiff. I only drove it from the concert hall to Pizza Hut and back, about 5-10km total, and I managed. I wouldn't say it NEEDED ps but it's nice to have.

I really want to try driving a RHD car. I did the shifting for my friend with my left hand from the passenger seat and it feels WEIRD. It just feels more correct to have first and second be engaged by pulling the stick towards me, rather than pushing it way off into the corner...

Ok guys clearly I was wrong the LS is fun to drive. In fact every car is fun to drive. Camry's, Town Car's, Taurus's, and even a Prius

Fun is subjective, duder.

yeah, RHD shifting seems counter intuitive to me.

The boat was missed there.  Apparently you have to have an actual sports car or GT car to have a fun to drive vehicle.  I feel sorry for the rest of us poor schlubs who aren't so fortunate...

Yeah, I was so bored driving to the store today in the Ranger that I nearly fell asleep before I reached the end of the block.

The Prius can be fun. Watchign that economy gauge is like playing a video game. They're relatively snappy handling and have decent torque.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

This is what I want to say:

OMG CIVICS ARE T3H SUCK BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT GIANT BOATS WITH COUCHES INSIDE THAT WALLOW DOWN THE STREET WITH THE EXCESS POWER THAT I NEEDZ TO MAKE UP FOR MY LACK OF DRIVING SKILLZ. NO, INSTEAD THEY ARE LIGHT AND EFFICIENT AND YOU CAN ACTUALLY FEEL THE ROAD AND THAT IS BAD AND ONLY FOR POOR PEOPLE WITH NO CLASS.

but I won't say that.

I have a Civic- an Si even- I also have one of those GIANT BOATS WITH COUCHES INSIDE THAT WALLOW DOWN THE STREET WITH THE EXCESS POWER THAT I NEEDZ .

Really? I bet design is too. So a DB9 isn't better looking than a Aztek. If fun is completely subjective you could say an Escort is more fun than an Enzo.

There's a difference between more fun and no fun. In my opinion, a Miata is way more fun to drive than that old Volvo I had, but that does not mean the Volvo wasn't fun to drive. I haven't driven an Enzo, but I bet it would be more fun than an Escort. The Escort, however, can still be fun.
