2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

The 97 you showed us wasn't that great a deal, but that 2002 definitely is if it's in great condition.

I'd stay away from pre-99 GTs unless you're planning on putting several grand into the engine. You'll get tired of being beaten by every 17 year old in a V6 Altima.

Looks kinda like a Bullitt, too.
That's a great deal.  Springs and exhaust to get things started and down the road some cams, intake, shifter, and clutch.

Actually the '97 was priced about perfectly.  I have found that the '94 to '98 Mustang GT's have gone up in value in the last year or two.  When I sold my '96 two and a half years ago, most '96 GT's were selling for $6000 - $9,000.  Now they are selling in the $8000 - $12,000 range.  That 2002 is a killer deal and I only wish I was actually able to buy it right now.  I still won't be in the market for another couple of months at least.

Do you forget my last GT was a '96?  They may not have been real fast, but with a PI head and intake swap they have more power then the '99+ GT's.  However, after doing the PI swap I will have spent as much or more then I would have on a lower mileage 2002 GT like the one in the ad.  Especially when you take the exchange rate into account...$9450 CDN.

Wait, so what are you driving now, HEMI?

If I were HEMI666, I'd wonder on down to Spokane, and bargain myself into an $18 - $20k used '05 GT, and be done. The extra dough now gets a car that will last longer, and be much, much better.

How do you get the fambone into that thing?  A stepladder?

Show me where they are because the cheapest 2005 GT I can find within 100 miles of Spokane is $23,999 on Autotrader.com.

SVT666

There is one 2005 Mustang GT on Craigslist for Spokane and it's been in an accident.

Or even the V6 'Stang.  Think of it not so much as a Mustang, but as an affordable RWD midsized coupe that's still plenty fast.  There's really nothing else like it.

It's still on lease, which is almost up.

Here's a 2002 Mustang GT in Seattle.  Looks good, but I'm concerned that it already has a rebuilt engine in it.

I have, but I haven't told my wife.  I can't seem to find much under $10K that I don't see giving me problems in the near future.  I already had that problem with the Shitfire and I don't want to go through that again.

Well, seeing how you've had 2 engine failures, hopefully your wife will understand you wanting to spend more money for a more reliable car.

Oh fuck, how did I miss that?  That's quite a bit for a 2002.  I want to keep the mileage at 100,000 kms or lower, which is 62,000 miles.

I think those cars are pretty reliable though, and those are all probably highway miles, so it isn't bad.

I know, but it is a lot for a 2002 car.  My car has 161k on the odometer and about 114k on the engine.  Believe me, I know.
