From a local online classified ad:

"She has a snub nose Werkes exhaust, a brand spanking new Metzler rear-wheel tire, and brand new breaks and roaders."

breaks and roaders.

Ahhh who cares. Language is phonetic anyway.

You'd know better than I. I haven't read a Klacky post in ages.

OK, I know you guys aren't into old trucks, but if I had an extra $3500 laying around, I'd be driving out to El Centro (desert) this weekend to pick this up:

It's '57, the best year of this body style, and best of all- no damn rust! Just a little bit in the bottom of the doors.  :ohyeah:

Swap your Dodge for it.  The only thing better would be a '57 Mercury pickup.

It was a bone stock base trim Liberty being sold as a rare rock crawler/ mud bogger.

Sold quick. Personally, that model jeep seems to appeal more to women than men, at least around here.

I always liked their fronts a bit better than the similar Ford.  Just a touch classier.

Nice looking truck.  Didn't see a lot of them around back then.  I do remember the old rhyme that everyone seemed to be saying though Buy a Fargo for the best.  Drive a mile and walk the rest.

Every time I hear Fargo, I think of that rhyme.

Gross.

Saw a bone stock one the other day.  It's a crime what people do to them.

How much does a new Subie engine run?

A new one? I dunno but a good tested junkyard one can be had for $600. I checked around awhile back when I was considering a FFR 818 project.
