But a FFR kit is gonna cost $20k plus another $5-10k in paint and other parts. Stang Cart would only cost a bit of money to add a cage to the stripped out car.

Okay, so a $45,000 investment gives you a $50,000 car. $15,000 plus "a bit of money" gives you, what, an ugly POS worth nothing. FFR actually has 25 of their MK4 kits on for $9995 right now. That's a great start if your argument is money. It can actually be done for under $30K, depending on your skills and resources.

Nice Crown Vic. The nicest.

Not however nice enough to get away with that "price on request" bullshit.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

What a cool and unique setup.

Way too overwrought and top heavy. That's what, an 80 lb Jon boat? Lol, just flip it over and get rid of 500 lbs of framing, wheels and ramps.

Stupidly over priced; but god damn if this isn't everything I ever dreamed of owning back when I was 6 and playing with my hot wheels on an off road park I made behind the garage.

I'm pretty sure I watched it between Dukes of Hazzard and The Fall Guy.

Why would someone buy a new car and only drive it 2400 miles?
My first thought was press car but Carfax claims it was a private owner.

It's probably been sitting on the lot for some time. Either way, there are many such vehicles on dealer lots:

Repossession.
Buyer's remorse (couldn't afford it/didn't like it/needed something different).
Short term lease came due.

I tried to sell Fiesta with 12K on it. It was in storage for a year. But fuck it, I"m keeping it.

Asking about $4k too much though

I'll bet he gets $5K for it. Then some enterprising guy with a welder will convert it to shortbed, stick a chromed up SBC in it with fancy wheels, get it painted all purty and sell it for $25K.
I just want to restore it.

GoCougs

Yep, mos def worth at least $5k, provided it really has  "minimal" rust and does actually run and drive.

GoCougs

Jesus, some guy in WA state had an all-original great condition '67 Charger w/426 Hemi listed for $35k a couple of weeks. ago. Was VERY tempted.

GoCougs

No longer on Craigslit but is here for $38k:  https://classiccars.com/listings/view/1332012/1966-dodge-charger-for-sale-in-bremerton-washigton-98311

Turns out not an original Hemi car but still to me that seems like an ultra bargain. Jesus.
