No longer on Craigslit but is here for $38k:  https://classiccars.com/listings/view/1332012/1966-dodge-charger-for-sale-in-bremerton-washigton-98311

Turns out not an original Hemi car but still to me that seems like an ultra bargain. Jesus.

No, that's about right, and maybe even a little high. Not an original Hemi car, high mileage, not a particularly desirable year or body style of Charger.

Yep, mos def worth at least $5k, provided it really has  "minimal" rust and does actually run and drive.

Yeah that would get $7-8000 up here.

Nice car. Green is very rare.

I'll bet he gets $5K for it. Then some enterprising guy with a welder will convert it to shortbed, stick a chromed up SBC in it with fancy wheels, get it painted all purty and sell it for $25K.
I just want to restore it.

I just looked up the Hagerty value for a "fair" condition truck and it says $9700. Was under $5000 in 2017. Seems like these are going up quickly.

My personal valuation is probably stuck in ~2010.

I had a guy stop at my house a couple of days ago and ask me how much I want for my '66 Chevy C20. It has been sitting for over 20 years but it still has all of its original parts.

Pic? Engine size/trans type/options? When was the last time it ran?

It last ran about 20 years ago. It has a 327 with a 3 speed manual transmission with granny gear. It's still in pretty good shape but the wood bed is rotting in one corner and their are some areas that are starting to rust through. I would love to fix it up but with a busy job, a 3 hour per day commute and 6 children, time and money are are a premium.

Did you want to sell it? I could give you some idea of what to realistically ask for it with some pics. The 327 is a desirable option. Is it a stepside or a long wide bed? Power steering or brakes?

It is not a stepside bed and no power steering or brakes. It's only real upgrade is the engine.

I usually have someone stop by my house every other year or so asking if I want to sell it but I have always turned them down. Sadly, I don't see being able to do much with it for another 5-20 years. It was a nice running truck before I parked it due to an oil leak and then life got crazy.

Is it a family vehicle? Might want to hang on to it if it is.

Nice car. Green is very rare.

These days I find the traditional muscle/pony car stuff sorta boring. Original/nice/restored/restomod Mustangs, Camaros, Chargers, 'Cudas, tri-5 Chevies, etc., are everywhere.

Here's a '66 Charger, fully restored, with 440, 4 speed and quirky yellow and dog-dish hubcaps. Love it: https://classiccars.com/listings/view/1266544/1966-dodge-charger-for-sale-in-struthers-ohio-44471

Always like the Olds Toronado, one of the most innovative car of the '60s, and with almost 400 hp, not a slouch: https://classiccars.com/listings/view/1337717/1966-oldsmobile-toronado-for-sale-in-gladstone-oregon-97027

Early/mid '50s Mopars were mega, esp. with the dual quad first gen Hemi: https://classiccars.com/listings/view/1304294/1956-dodge-coronet-for-sale-in-prattville-alabama-36067

I really like the Toronado. Unique and great styling and a great car. Those are all nice, the old Dodge may be a little overpriced.
