Speaking of waggins...

1975 Mercury Colony Park, $3,975. Looking a little rough on the outside...

... but look at that interior!

The Arcadian looks like an unfinished project. but somebody sunk some cash into it. The old wagon may be a decent car, just needing some freshening up, but would require a special buyer.
If you like it, drive it, if you still like it, go for it.

Yeah, I'm a little suspicious of the Acadian. The seller's photos don't show the body as a whole, and what it does show (the passenger door) doesn't look great. I almost thought it was a survivor car parked in a garage its whole life, until it dawned on me the front seats are missing!

That wagon is a spruced-up version of the Ford Wagon I spent a lot of time in the back.

Nice car, that Edsel. Still mostly original looks like. The chrome is beautiful. Garaged car, maybe.

The rear view is nice. Front is still controversial IMO

Looks pretty good for that price.  For someone who wants something a little bit different.

Great deals can be had with a little research. I've seen Edsels in similar condition asking $20k plus.

Like a fine Detroit wine, this vehicle has aged to budgetary perfection...

Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

If this was closer I'd go check it out. Getting registration for an old vehicle isn't hard to do.

It has a load of fresh wood on it. Must run, or have run recently. Good price if you have the room. Parts are available.

If you have ever considered owning a classic car, now is the time to buy. As the economy gets stronger, prices will rise.

How/why do people let their Ferraris rot away like that.

I don't understand. Work is pretty nice.

I like it. Looks good if you're not too anal about the proportions, reliable, good on gas, and the price is good for the work gone into it. What I like the most is you can flog this car. You wouldn't do that with a $30-45,000 original '65 Mustang Convertible.

For real. One of the reasons I'll buy a Miata over other cars. They've always been "underpowered" but the resulting advantage is reliability.

Why not?

My dad's '71 Camaro was pretty much original. He's now modified it and flogs it all the time and it's amazing.

Engine replacement on a Miata would be peanuts, replacing an original Stang or Camaro motor would be $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

You know if I had room this would get a different paint job and KLZE motor. But I don't have room. Or time.

Those were fun cars. I had a '92 NX2000, wish I still had it. I haven't seen another since I got rid of mine back in '98.

Had that same car. 1993 GS SE. Dumb color but it had all black leather seats, shifter and steering wheel, cruise controls, rear wiper, power windows & mirrors, CD, 15" rims and a 1.8 V6 that was as smooth as a rotary.

It was based off the 323 but didn't just use the same dash or interior. It had all it's own stuff.

Friend had the 4 cyl. I did test drive the 1.8 V6, and it was a smooth and gutsy engine. Imagine if they put it in the Miata and developed it further.
