If I'm seeing correctly, then this pic was taken almost on the way from where I used to live to where I work :praise:

There was a Tesla in my building at Microsoft, with the license plate COIL.

I saw SEAMON today and snapped a pic with my phone camera. As soon as I get back in cell range I can post it here.

Tesla owners are rich and like to show off they don't use gas

I was thinking about getting a vanity plate for my cars, but a lot of the decent ones are taken.  You have to pay every year for them too, not just a one time fee.  I don't care about it that much I guess.

There are very few vanity plates I like. I'd never put one on my car.

It's a very Indian thing to straight up put your name (or your kid's name) on a vanity plate. I always get a kick out of seeing those cars on the road

Yeah, why is that?  We've got this apartment complex near me that's walking distance to a big IT employer.  There's a ton of Indians working on contract.  We call the apartment Little India  but they all get vanity plates with their name.  I was behind a Shrikant the other day I think.

I hate name plates. I have "LEAD FUT" on my G8. Before that I had "IH8FORD" on my Z28. Never got around to putting one on the C6 tho!

maybe because 20 years ago, 75% of people who owned cars in India had an off-white Fiat or Ambassador.

Raza

Also, I bet only 0.1% of Indians had cars.

What's the car culture like there?

Their licensing looks like a nightmare...

That word is censored absolutely nowhere in the states. It's whimsical to us.

That's because nobody there has any apparent sense of lane discipline or right-of-way.
