I don't think that's a stock interior.

These are:

They went to the two square openings in 69

Yes...this looks a bit more likely.

I still don't see much resemblance to the new one.

So the robot is only programmed to recognize and grasp a human penis.

Thanks for the info Soup, just don't tell me how you know this.

Anyway i'm sure most understand its prepo, but the basic shape and design will carry over. This interior(to me) is horrible down to its basic design style. I doubt they will turn this into anything stunning in the next 4 years before it goes on sale.

They attach the robot in the simplest way they can come up with; which usually involves a hose clamp. Penile shaped shifters work pretty well with that technique I suppose.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

I'll need to start working on that mullet shortly to make sure it's in full force when this releases, finally.

I'm not sold on the interior design yet, but with the right materials, and GM not screwing the pooch and using crappy switchgear, it could work.

the photos of the interior of the camaro concept that i remember seeing years ago actually looked quite good. There is hope that this is all a bunch of shit smeared over the real interior. After all, this is a prepro model.

It's just too early to pass judgement.

Of course it is!  You just know that they're gonna add another slot so that they can put two slices of bread into that toaster. Standard on the SS (Second Slice) model, optional on the others...

Step 4:  Paint the front bumper the same reddish-orange as the rest of the sheetmetal

Not surprising, both the 70s Celica and the new Camaro draw styling inspiration from the same source:  late 60s American pony cars.

Front end:

Arg, that thing looks huge.  I wonder how heavy this car is going to be, considering the G8 is ~4000lbs.  My guess will be 3600-3700lbs, if not more.  For comparison a GT is ~3450lbs.

It definitely is not my cup of tea styling wise, but with the LS3 in place, it will surely haul some ass in a straight line...

Damn, 2010?  What the hell?  The car's been 90% production ready for five fucking years and it's been in a goddamn movie already and it still won't come out for another two years?  Way to capitalize on the movie's publicity.

Definitely.  By the time this comes out, the S197 will likely be replaced...it has taken them that long.

There will be used Challengers on the market before the Camaro comes out.

'10 model year, which means it will be out in '09.  And I recall hearing it was going to be out as an early '10 ('09.5), so that pushes it up to summer of '09.  Still too friggin long.  I was hoping it would be out as an '09 model.  I was willing to wait until the fall for the Camaro to come out if that was the case, but it looks like it's out of contention unless my situation changes and I end up waiting another year or two for a new car.
