They're the right diameter too.

i think my car has 185/60/14
anyway, a smaller diameter would be desireable on the track.

My brother's Jetta is 195/60/14.

according to tire rack, they came with both sizes.  they're close enough that it doesn't rally matter.

You will have that 2.5 swapped in by then? And the RS suspension is it? Hmm... I don't want to get a crazy stiff suspension. The Jetta won't be totally kick ass on the track, but the stock setup is great for street use, so maybe I will just get a crazy stiff rear sway bar so I can dorifffttooo.

If I don't go to Florida over spring break, yes.  If I do, then no.  It's all dependent on how my wrestling club does.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

So, you want your wrestling club to F41L so you can get your motor swapped? I smell sabotage... :mask:

If I get someone to Florida, then I will be put into a hall of fame for starting an amazingly successful club team right off the bat.  That looks good on resumes.

However, I want that 2.5 engine in my car.  My turbo buddy/soon-to-be roommate wants to just turbo my car and throw out the 2.5.  I want a livable, reliable car, so I'm going with an NA engine at this point.  I have a mechanic, a tuner friend, and a lot of tools lined up for spring break if I don't make it to warm, sunny, beautiful Florida.

This all is such a major dilemma for me right now.

I think I'm 205/55/16 if memory serves right.

I'm currently running 185/65/14 on one set of wheels and 225/50/16 on the other.  I don't know whether I should keep them like that or go back to recommended 175/70/14 and 205/55/16, respectively.

You should try 295/15/22

There's this little thing called turning the front wheels that I'd still need to be able to do.

Who needs to turn when you've got bling bling?

Why can't you be more like this guy? He has seriously compromised the handling, ride, braking, acceleration, stability, his safety AND the safety of all other motorists with his 30" rims. Yet he still drives his car around because it is truly "pimp".

351 Cleav costs like twice as much money for less power. 350 Chevy is the only way to go. :nono:

Any tire advice, Nick?  Assuming, of course, that I want to kick your ass at the Beave.

225/50/16 is huge compared to 185/65/14.

How can they both go on the same car?

There's actually a fairly massive wheel gap in the front with the 16s, but the rears fit fine and it looks badass.  I need to lower my car about an inch (RS) to make it all look good.
