My uncle > Hitler, therefore Hitler looks like my uncle. He didn't kill 6 million Jews, and he drives nice-ass cars, and he has made it in life, so him > Hitler.

But Hitler's older than your uncle, so he came first, and your uncle wasn't the original. You lose. That, and Hitler wasn't exactly a fucking idiot. He was a brilliant man, who was equally disturbed. Hitler had humble upbringings, so he made it in life. I have heard of Hitler, I haven't heard of your uncle. Enough said.

He's an awesome guy. Has excellent taste in cars (over the past 15 years or so has had the S550, an S600, a Touareg V10TDI, a bugeye WRX, a 1999-ish Volvo V70R, an 850 Turbo Wagon, a W140 300SD, a W126 560SEL, and a Toyota Van LE) and is the most accomplished person I know.

I wish someone would have shot the bastard before he rose to power.  He was a lot of rhetoric without what looked to be much substance when he got elected.  He had a lot of energy, too, and had a propensity to captivate audiences...like a 1930s Barack Obama.

It's all in how you read the instructions, not what they say. Almost all politicians (Obama included) spew the same bullshit, some of them just spew it in a more crowd pleasing way.

Good point, but I like McCain better, even though he doesn't incite people into a frenzy of emotion like Obama/Hitler.

That's because he's old and repetitive. I don't like either of them, actually. That said, I have no idea who I'd vote for in the actual election. My state primary is over, now I just have to wait for the nominees to be picked and then I'll bother with doing research about who will screw things up less than the other.

I think it'd be easier to have them all play one big game of poker and whoever wins, wins (and there'd be a lot less complaining), but this way is much more expensive, complicated, and drawn-out, and therefore, better.

The selection of leader of the most powerful nation in the world is a fairly big news story. In any case, decisions and actions of the US can affect things here in Oz, so it has some degree of relevance - take Iraq, for example, or the current economic situation in the US.
