I think it looks cool.  Something a young person would drive.

I think it'll eat other Small Hatches like the xB, alive. It's a B-segment car, roughly around the same size as the Old xB.

It's polarizing. I like it, you don't. There will be people that'll agree with me, and people that'll agree with you.

Is "polarising" the new politically correct codeword for "ugly"?  In that case, the girl I saw at the gas station yesterday isn't "ugly", she's "aesthetically polarising"!

Am I old or young?  I can't remember.

That commercial was good enough the first few times through, but now it's just annoying. It's time to change it up, for sure.

I like the Soul. I like the idea of small 2 box utility vehicles, all the better when they have a slightly fun style. Not every car has to be a mucle car or supercar. A cheap, small utility vehicle is one of the best all around vehciles to own.

How can you hate a car like this? What went wrong in your childhood that a mechancial object causes hatred?
Like a fine Detroit wine, this vehicle has aged to budgetary perfection...

As a child, some bigger kids trapped him inside an old refrigerator for three days.  Ever since, he's had an irrational hatred of boxy metal objects.  ;)

I used to hate the little box cars, but the reality is they make great city runabouts, and the extra space is very useful for running errands.

Have you ever ridden in/driven anything with that Toyota 2.4 in it?  I don't know how why everyone calls it refined because it's not.  Sure, it's fairly quiet, but it's really buzzy and anemic, and it returns horrible gas mileage.

No thanks.

A Camry? I've been a 4-cylinder Camry once. It wasn't that bad.

Last I checked, the engine didn't have anything to do with the LOOKS of the car. ;)

Okay, time to start again.  The second gen xB looks like shit.  And it has a massive bind spot.

I think they should make an AWD turbo version to compete with the Suzuki SX4.

I would buy one (if I had the money). :praise:

I like the Soul better than the current xB and the original xB. It's a bunch less bland then either, and more like a European utility vehicle than an Asian one. I'd prefer a Fiat Panda 100 to all of them, but this is pretty close, with actually more useability than the Fiat would have.

I like the fender flares, with the crisp edges. I like the body line that runs from under the headlights, sweeps up over the flare, and then becomes the scoop line down the side, giving definition to the side and helping it look less blocky. I like the rounded face of it. With the blacked out bit on the lower front facia, the bumper looks less massive than the xB, and looks less like someone kicked it in the chin. I like the round lights up front rather than the huge useless scoops on the sides of the xB bumper.
Like a fine Detroit wine, this vehicle has aged to budgetary perfection...

omicron

I'm quite a fan of its looks, too.

SVT666

I really like the way this car looks.

Vinsanity

The car looks more "dynamic" (for lack of a better term) in real life than in pics; the flares and character lines stand out more, and brings alot more to the table than the regular box shape of the XB.
