Mazda MX-3. 1.8L V6.
Had one! Loved it!
Should have never sold the thing. Could put the motor in my MX-5.

...
so?
I also think that's really cool too, I just don't see what the point of that post was.

Even when the F50 was closer to a F1 car than a F40?
I don't like F1 anyways.

Plus the F50 looks like ass when compared to the F40. Plus the F40 was a barebones road car. No A/C, power anything or any of the other junk.

When Ferrari saw the 959, they wanted to retaliate, but they thought that that amount of technology was inappropriate for a Ferrari.

I miss that Ferrari.  The new Ferrari just doesn't do it for me.

Is it? AFAIK, the F50's suspension design and components were very close to the F1 parts. The F50 also lacks rubber bushings.

Yep, F50 was closer.  It had its suspension bolted directly to the transmission and the engine and transmission acted as structural components of the chassis just like an F1 car.  The engine derived heavily from the F1 engine as well.

The F40 is a sportyaccordy wet dream. Everything I love about cars and nothing I hate

Same here.

It even has turbochargers.

omicron

I think it was Leonardo Fioravanti who said that the most glorious thing he had ever done was to drive softly in an F40.

You need A/C.

You need A/C.

When driving that thing, I'm sure A/C would be the last thing on anyone's mind.
