Sounds like an awesome comparo and I'll post the scans as soon as I find them.  In the meantime here's a awesome video of the GT3 vs GT-R split screen lap comparision.  I think this split screen is an awesome way of doing lap comparisions because you can see exactly where each car has it's advantage.

The GT3 driver royally screwed that lap up. How the hell do you exit a corner with your front end pointing 40 degrees off center? If one of you says because 911's oversteer badly then you need to be bitch-slapped back to 1990. That video sucked and you need to take some drivers ed classes at the local track, 565.
You see what happens when you find a stranger in the Alps?!!

Cry more noob.

The GT3 was already far behind before it oversteered on the last corner

It certainly wasn't the best representation of what that car is capable of...

When there is a review that tears the GTR a new one, I'll be the first to post it.  So far all the reviews have been hugely positive.  I have no control over what all the major UK magazines say, nor how fast they lap the cars on the track.

You sound like a kid in highschool. I just thought I'd give you that piece of advice so you don't continue to make a mockery of yourself.

Maybe we should have valeted the cars before we were qualified to give an opinion.

Is there a point or are you just taking the piss?

I once sat in an M5 at an auto show. It is definitely one of the best handling cars I've ever sat in.

Good I figured you'd understand better.

Where's your advice?  Sounded like excuses and whining to me.

Sadly no article yet?

Given I shell out $167 for my annual subscription to EVO, I'd be pretty darn pissed off if the articles came out free on the internet before I got my copy!

I figured someone in Europe would scan it by now.

Well I still can't find any scans, but here are some numbers from the track run to keep people happy.

Ok, I've not had chance to read the article yet.  But from reading the Editor's page, it seems that evo were not impressed merely by the performance of the GT-R but also by its soul and cabin quality.

More tomorrow when I have read the actual article.

With a lot of computers.

Big deal.  No one complains about Ferrari beating the world with more computers then any other car on the planet.

Wow....

GTR got pwned, go back to japan with that shit.

Sorry guys.  Got this last week but hadn't got around to posting it.

For anyone who hasn't got time to read, the GT-R was pitted against the Z06 in a drag race, R8 on the road, and the GT3 on the track.  It won in all three categories.

And yet I would take all three of those cars over the GT-R.  This seems to be a car people either REALLY like or not.  Anyone indifferent?  I may be heading there when I drink some more tonight...

Every time I see the front of the GT-R it looks uglier and uglier.
I'd take the GT3 and Z06 instead.

I'd rather have a F430.
