Motherfucking Acura dealer...

They sold the car which they told us was available on the website and over the phone, and to give us another option, they showed us a 2004 TSX with 31K miles on it, and wouldn't budge from $20,500. Fuck that.

That said, we did drive the 2004 TSX, and my Dad is sold on it (it being a TSX, not that one). He liked it too. But the Mazda6 is still very much in the running.

I swear, we blew up at that goddamn manager. I would have liked to brutally beat him. In any case, we'll continue to look for TSX's. Is it that fucking hard to find a nice TSX with low miles around here?

5,200 miles, eh? I don't think that's real, for less than $20k, just like that EX V6 6MT sedan for $15k probably wasn't real.
For $19k, the lowest TSX here is 33k or so miles. That's for a 6 speed though, dunno about the auto.

Luckily, I have a bus pass and a job (potentially) that is not that far away.  In fact, I took the bus and walked a block to get there for my interview.  I'm not looking forward to paying $50 to fill my tank.

Oh, and Ro, does your sister care about how powerful her car is?  I really would go for the most fuel-efficient models, personally.

I e-mailed the Mazda dealer we visited yesterday. They were open today from 11-5 or something like that.

My Dad's patient works at a Lexus dealer and we saw that that dealer has a 2004 IS300 in stock with 43,200 miles, for $22,600, and my Dad would get a nice discount. That could be fun.

And it isn't even going to be my car. When I get my car in college, for the same price, hopefully it will be a 1er, and if so, if most definitely will be a 6MT.

The CPO warranty is probably just as good, the one I posted (my Dad's going to inquire tomorrow) isn't exactly ancient, and the TSX is a better car. Game over.
