By his friend drifting it?

How do you go from looking at a 3.2TL to a Civic Si?  Change of heart?

Might have passed a gas station or two on the test drive...

I can't wait for the day Trep meets a car that is truly fun to drive.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but he has.

Don't forget, to treppo fun= plush interior, autotragic and floatiness.

But you can get fun cars that have automatic transmissions and plush interiors.....

Indeed you can, only if you are willing to pay premium for something AMG based or the likes. Other than that, any car that does 0-60 in more than 4.5 seconds I would like to have to row my own gears for.

The plush interior statement was more or less aimed towards treps gayness.

Look at what the car is doing and this guy's face. He's the god damn Super Pope of Cool.

Yes  you can (and it doesn't necessarily take AMG-class money either)

Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

Upon my nagging, I finally taught this kid to drive stick.

This poor car was the victim:

It took 2 hours and a lot of patience.

My friend didn't know what a tach was, when I asked him if his Civic had one, because I thought I remembered it did.

Its the truth, once you drive a standard every day for a couple of years you can probably teach others much easier.

Yeah, what's up with that? I've seen automatics without a tach, but I don't think I've ever seen a manual car without one.

I drove a late 90's stickshift Civic sedan without a tach once. It was like singing karaoke without the words on the screen.

There are a few. Earlier Rangers come to mind.

Still, I think it's better to learn how to drive manual without a tach anyways.

My friend Brendan had an early 90s Escort (the one before the goofy wavy bubbly styling) that didn't have a tach, it just had a little up-arrow that lit up. It never lit up at a sensible point and quite randomly too, but still.

My 2000 Civic DX didn't have a tach.  I fixed that with a gauge cluster from a Civic EX when I got the car, though.

Shift lights were ridiculous. They were mapped to suggest shift points that would get the best mileage, not those that would actually make the car move.

My gym teacher has a manual civic sedan from that generation and his also doesn't have a tach

Trep teaching someone to drive stick, now that's a video i'd like to watch.

"What does this thing do"
"I'm not sure, i've never seen it before"
"Get the owners manual out from the glove box"
"According to the manual it's the gear lever, but why does it have all those numbers on it"
