The hell is that thing? That wood paneling looks like it's off a crappy Geppetto boat!

Diagnosis of the extent of FAIL!

1: The omission of the word "what." It's an attempt to mimic a style that's both passe and obnoxious.

2: The question itself. It had already been clearly answered by the previous post.

3: "Gepetto": random racist slur for no apparent reason.

4: The complete inability to tell the difference between an unrestored original and "crappy."

5: The random comparison to a modern day Volvo. I really have no idea why anybody would think that's a relative question.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

Geppetto was not racist. It was a reference to the wood-carver in Pinocchio. Remember?

It's a common racist term used against Italians. OK, maybe that's not technically racism, maybe "nationism," but it's still offensive.

Why did I have it in mind that the old Mini's hood was front-hinged?

Possibly the diagonal line where the panels join on the front fender led you astray?

But VTAK's run forever!
And there's a lawnmower in my backyard with a Briggs & Stratton engine that doesn't run anymore so you're wrong on that account too.

B&S mower engines will run forever even if you pour water in the crankcase and whale oil in the gas tank. If you have one that doesn't run, you're just a noob. I could make it run.

Don't forget: there's no A/C in that car, ventilation may be a good friend on hot days. Besides, in the pantheon of complexity, a cloth  roof is just slightly above a stone hammer.

A hardtop, fixed roof is even less complex!
It can't leak (unless you shoot holes it), it can't rip, and the folding mechanism can't break because there is none.

Not getting a MINI period.  Why?  Because my dad's retarded.  That's why.  We're mainly looking at a Mazda5 Grand Touring with nav, an '09 Sonata Limited V6 with nav and Bluetooth, and an '09 Forester 2.5X L.L. Bean.
