I would hope not.

Honestly, it would scare the crap out of me.

And that's comng from a guy who's found himself going 80 MPH backwards through a cornfield more than once...

I'm intrigued by it, but then again, I wasn't thinking about safety concerns.

But, it's still in development.  When the Aston V8 Vantage was in development, there was a picture of it lifting its front wheel going around a corner.  That didn't make it to production.

Lifting an inside wheel during cornering is not uncommon. Older GTIs used to be famous for it- lifting the inside rear four or five inches off the pavement.

Lifting both rear wheels during braking is quite another thing.

That has always been the case with the Sl 65 AMG.

The AMGs still could never take a corner as well as the SLR.

It wasn't while braking, it was while going around a corner.  I was just showing how things change in development.  It's coincidence that it has to do with wheel lifting as well.

Tons of FWD cars do the tripod thing... I wonder if you could do that in a Maxima...
And lifting the front wheel during cornering is caused by a too stiff front swaybar, right?

Maxima has a beam axle in the rear (or some type of scissor link), right?  I think that would make it tougher.

Anything is possible with coilovers and limited/no rebound travel, plus super stiff sway bars. When my car is on a lift it looks like the Maxima in your sig.

My friends and I lifted a wheel on my mom's '90 Corolla sedan back in the day. You would be surprised what a bunch of 12 year olds with nothing better to do can achieve when they work together. We had it up for about 2 seconds before our arms got tired.

It has plenty of traction for the rear tires, good power, and a light front end with some very stiff sway bars.

I'm not ready to take the car out like that yet.  I've only done about 1500 miles in it, most of it fairly sedate.  You don't just hop in a 60,000 dollar car and put it in harm's way until you're sure of how it's going to work.  That kind of idiocy is the kind of thing I speak out against.  Besides, I'd rather be on a track.

So here I am, being goaded into dealing with you and justifying what I don't need to.  You do have a talent.

I do know that this is a car enthusiast forum, yet you're trying to tell me you don't have to justify to me why you won't even take your awesome sports car out for a little exercise so you can do what you seemed to express a little bit of interest in when you said:

but I guess that's all part of your fake enthusiasum. You want to talk about idiocy? Idiocy is owning a car that is so above your means that you are scared to actually drive it. You have irrational fears of what could happen at a little autocross eveent, which is actually vastly safer than any drive on a public road.
