Ughh that SUV is fugly. The Linan has some potential, but it's a bit too bloated for me.

Wow.....a clone.

Doesn't even look like the MINI......reminds me more of the Daihatsu Mira Gino and Suzuki Lapin.

Yeah.  They didn't copy the MINI grille at all.

Is it that Chinese designers genuinely have no idea of proportion or style, or that they deliberately scribble lines in demonstrably wrong places?

A combination of both

It's like they looked over at their neighbor's, copied the answers, but deliberately fudged a few answers to make it seem like their own.

Well.....seems like Geely Delivered.

Geely Tiger GT

Theoretical Power plant is a 3.5L V6 making 225 HP, and 340 ft lbs of torque.

Brillence BS4 Wagon

If it doesn't fail a crash test like the older, larger BS6, with the turbodiesel it could be an attractive ride.

Also here's the VW Bora....on the same platform as the Lavida, but better looking.

Sorry for spamming....posting as I find them....

Here's the Geely NL

The FC-E concept (Geely FC is already a production model) I guess some sort of "green" technology. I like the plexiglass trunk.....sadly you'll probably now see ricers in civics doing this.

They cut one too many corners....

Geely GC (I'm guessing midsize sedan)

C-segment Geely FC-3 (hatch) and FC-2 Seems to be the most boring of all of them....but still OK.

Geely "King Kong" hatch (HRV)

JAC B18.....JAC Made the Lovely Vision Concept.

A bit of Ford Mondeo and Acura TSX...still nice.

Geely GE.....Besides the gunslit windows, could be really nice with a taller greenhouse.

Kinda funny.....the Stuff from JAC, FAW, Geely and Brillence make Chery's attempts look old and stale.

JAC Vision 3

2o6

Oh Yes! and the Geely HL!

ThunderCharger

Well that's quite a lot... There's actually quite a lot of nice designs in there. Also a few that I'm not feeling.

2o6

Intresting....Geely only has two models that use the new contest designed logo. One uses the old logo, and the others use the checkerboard pattern.

2o6

Beijing 700R. From chinese....I don't know what is says.....but it's a great looking concept, if a bit generic.

565

The Geely Tiger GT and GC sedan look good.

2o6

And also the Beijing 700 Sedan concept.

2o6

Geely FC-1.....not as bad as the renderings potrayed it, but still not great.

Brilliance FRV

#22
I quite like the Geelys.  OTOH,

It didn't take long for them to copy the new Fiesta.

ThunderCharger

The FC1 is just aweful. Not to mention the limited rear view visibility. I like the Brilliance FRV.

2o6

Chang'An Qingcheng Concept
And it still is coming......Besides the fact the car's body is clear, it's a nice looking concept.

Beijing 800

2o6

Here's the Brilliance BC3 6MT 1.8Turbo.

CALL_911

So now they're using the VW 1.8T?

Instead of hiring designers, they make coloring books with the outlines of other people's cars and give them to a bunch of three-year-olds.

2o6

Hmmn.... This Chery QQ Sports looks actually decent.

It could sell here....in an so-ugly-it's-cute kind of way.

ThunderCharger

The interior isn't all that bad.
