El Barto

I went to the races at the 29th Rolex Vintage Festival at Lime Rock yesterday.  The weather was great, there were some clouds for a while but no rain.  There were Alfa Romeo, Lotus, Maserati, and MG race cars everywhere you looked.  There was a wide range of cars that raced, everything from a Bugatti Type 35 to 1960's Mustangs and Vettes.

Depending on price, that could be a good deal.

Watkins Glen does a vintage weekend too.  That's a lot closer to you.  It's in early to mid September.  I went a few years ago, and got a few laps on the track in my friend's dad's Porsche 911 (1968, IIRC). They have the car show and races there too.

And sweet pictures El Barto!  I'm going to have to check this out next year - vintage weekends are always a blast!

After you wake up with the sun at 6am on someone's floor, coughing up cigarette butts and tasting like warm beer, you may well change your opinion on this matter.

Colin

Looks good.......... the sort of report I write, from the sort of event I like attending.

Thanks!

I have to get up to Lime Rock more often, I've only been a couple of times and it's a great place.

Isn't the great state of Connecticut pretty?
