I know one of my neighbors bought a step side because he could fit his atv in easier. I don't think it would fit in a normal one (wheel wells got in the way)

And yeah, older step side trucks are sweet.

That makes no sense at all.  The wheel wells don't move.  The box sides do.

I bet it was because he could get on the steps to assist in getting the ATV in, or that, though the amount of room between wheel-wells is the same, the ATV wheels kept getting caught on the wheel-wells...

Less precision needed to get it into a narrow regular space than a wider space that can catch the wheels of the ATV would be the advantage I'd see in that situation.

No offense, but that doesn't make sense at all, and I haven't had a problem loading an ATV in a truck since I was a child. If anything I appreciate having that extra room in case I don't drive up the ramp perfectly square.

If I wore jeans that tight, that wouldn't happen to me. I couldn't grow love handles to save my life.

That's wrong. Women just wear clothing that makes it obvious how un-lean they are. Mean wear relatively baggy clothes, so it's harder to see their gut.
