Well, we all thought the V8 Quattro was a good pick-up too.

Ya, well it was slightly neglected. The Volvo is obviously not. The only problems I noticed are one brake light out, broken left rear window switch on driver's door, the trans fluid was brown (not burnt or opaque, just brown).

VW are generally pretty slow, though most of the VW Trolls seem to deduct about 2-3 seconds of their seat of the pants 0-60 times.

I remember reviews of the early 2000 1.8T GTi's and their amazing  mid to low 7 second to sixty times.

They were mid to high 7s with a stick.

That was a pretty good time for a japanese car in the early 90's.

First of all, congrats.

Ok, I'm afraid to ask, but what's up with the Jetta?

Jetta is still alive for now. I'm still driving it, but I'm waiting to see if I can get the salvage title rebuilt to make it legal again.

Who's on first?

An iconic '60s rock band fronted by a name name Pete Townshend seems to be standing on first base. I'm not sure why.

3300 pounds!?

Holy cow, look at cars.  That's about the same as my Passat and a little more than my Wolf.  Damn.

It's not a Suburban, d00d: it's an 19-year old Volvo passenger car with a bit-o-metal on the rear. :nutty:

According to one source, the wagon is lighter than the sedan.
