There is no expectation of a pretty Impreza.  Somehow, though, Mazda managed to uglify the 3.

I own a current three and like the styling of the new one. I will probably buy one. My opinion trumps yours.

Don't like the grille.  And that nav screen looks awful small.  I seem to recall the 1st gen cars offering a larger screen.

Eh... I'll withhold judgement on the exterior. That interior on the other hand needs to go. The only word I can think of that describes it is awkward.

Apparently it's not actually lighter.  The chassis is slightly lighter, but once you put everything into it, it's about the same weight or a couple of lbs heavier than the 1st gen

Mazda is staring to worry me. I think their front bumpers are getting ugly as hell. The 6 looks ok but the new RX-8 and 3 look like shit.
