It looks better then I feared, That C pillar needs a facelift though. They should extend the window.

The profile kind of reminds me of a 9-3 hatchback with a chopped roof.  Although the more I look at it, the more it looks like they took a Cayenne and squished it down.

I think it looks eons better than it's competition. This is refreshing, new, and I really do like the looks.

New? On the contrary, I think this shape is shamelessly derivative of the Chrysler Nassau concept of a couple years ago.

It's not every day that I go outside and see a car like this on the road. And the average buyer pays no attention to obscure no one cares concept cars. Shit, I thought Nassau was a city in the Bahamas, but guess I learn something new every day. I'm telling you, this will be a huge hit for Porsche.

When was the last time you saw a four door Porsche on the road? Now how about a four door BMW, MB, Audi? This car is amazingly refreshing compared to the other three German luxury automakers. The only thing that comes even a smidgen of closeness is the MB CLS.

Man! The Lexus ES looks so much better, is more reliable, offers more luxury and is better value for money! And Consumer Reports recommends it too! Consumer Reports doesn't recommend this thing!

BFD, when's the last time you saw a six-door Porsche?

Obviously you're easily impressed. I say this thing brings nothing new to the table. It will compete with the Maserati Quattroporte for whatever paltry sales that thing gets.

I think it'd look better if the rear hatch came down a bit faster.

the Teuton

There's so much visual heft in the rear that they have to spell out both Porsche and Panamera.  That hunchback kills an otherwise great looking car.

I think the Maserati Quattroporte looks a lot better.  I'm interested to read some reviews/road tests of the car, though.  I'm sure it's equal to (or better than) the Maserati as far as driving dynamics go.

This thing is FR, right?

The panel seams tend to interfere with the lines.

In black, it might look very good. Its just, once again, not the sort of shape I ever want a porsche to be.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

Depending on price, that could be a good deal.

Why does Porsche paste a 911 esque front and rear end on everything they make?  Except for the 911, it just doesn't work on other cars.

It looks like the Cayenne did, an amorphous and unnatural graft of 911 DNA on a bulbous shape.

FlatBlackCaddy

Looking at it just made me feel confused and disoriented.

A) It's a concept no one gives a shit about.

B) Other than the fact that they are both full size hatch backs, I don't think Porsche "shamelessly" ripped off Chrysler. There is as much in common style-wise between those cars as there is between an F-150 and a Silverado. Maybe it's just me, but I need to get past "vague, general shape" and actually look at the lines, details, etc. before I say two cars look alike. These cars don't look alike even in the rear  (window shape is different, bumper is different, the lines where the rear quarters meet the back end are different, exhaust is different, lights are different, etc.), and the difference grows as you move toward the front of the car. "Shameless rip-off" my ass. Look at it!

C) It's a concept no one gives a shit about.

SVT666

From the A-pillars forward it looks really good.  It looks lean, taut, and athletic.  From the A-pillars back it looks like Larry the Cable Guy.

Not feelin da hatch, looks good otherwise. They should complete the circle and make a front engined GT w/the corporate Flat 6

Raza

I'm not sure how I feel about it.  I like the front 3/4, love the rear 3/4, but I'm not entirely sure about that side profile.
