A commercial van to compliment the older NV200 compact van concept.

And for comparison, the older Nissan NV200 concept.

Catman

New one looks a little more production ready.

I kind of like it, and I think the design manages to lighten some of the visual heft of the vehicle. I couldn't tell how large it was until I got to that third picture; I thought it was much smaller than it is.

Depending on price, that could be a good deal.

Underneath, it's a Nissan Titan.

the Teuton

Isn't Nissan getting rid of their Titan.  Would it make sense to make this van?

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

The Titan's platform is used on the QX and Pathfinder Armada. The Essential platform has been reworked for the New Frontier, Pathfinder and Xterra.

Then why do they want to make the next Titan into a reworked Ram?

I'm surprised they haven't carried over the 370Z's retarded-cat styling motif.

That's a great local brewery that we have. Do I drink their beer? No.

Once again, why doesn't Nissan just buy Sprinters from Daimler?

Then there would be FOUR variants of one model running around. Nissan wants something unique for their marque, they're putting a lot of effort into this project. Makes no sense to just use one commercial van.

It also makes no sense to base this van on a truck that is going the way of the dodo bird.

No it doesn't. Why spend money on a rebadge, when the tooling and resources are already at home?
