I really want to drive one with the FR3 package... Damn. Sounds really good.
Like a fine Detroit wine, this vehicle has aged to budgetary perfection...

That's the first I've heard about the FR3 handling pack.  It does sound awesome.

HEMI666:  HemiDude, I think this is one of Ford's three Performance Packs developed by FRPP several years ago and sold over the parts counter.

One of the packs was engine upgrades, one was handling upgrades (the FR3, no doubt), and the third may have been a Drag Pack--the FRPP online can explain it all.  None are radical, and all are probably bolt-ins/bolt-ons that can be done under a shade tree with a tool kit, a six-pack, and a winsome lass  with a comely ass :winkguy:.  Actually, you don't need the tool kit, the six-pack, the shade tree, the Performance Packs, or even the Mustang
So many stairs...so little time...

Shame you can't get the track pack on the base GT.  To me it makes more sense to offer it on the more stripped down model, since that's the one people who want to use the Mustang as a track car are going to buy.
Needs more Jiggawatts

I'm sure you would be able to get it as a dealer installed option.  The track pack will be available in the Ford Racing catalog.

Track Pack is a factory option package from Ford (not FRP) and is not offered on the base GT.  The FR3 suspension package, which is a bit more hardcore than the Track Pack, is the FRP package.

I can pretty much guarantee you that you will be able to order the Track Pack through any Ford dealer.  You can do it with the GT500 and Bullitt suspensions too.
