I actually don't know which I would take yet, but I do know that it's still a great time to be a car enthusiast

A no brainer...at least for me ;).  Mustang all the way :ohyeah:.

The 370Z is probably the best car here in a quantitative sense, but I'm leaning towards the Challenger.

Although I'd take an S197 Bullitt over all of them.

Im still all for a 35k used Boxster S, like the one I posted in another thread yesterday.

Fuck all these other POS's, they all have a problem I don't think I could live with and would gladly pay a few extra grand for perfection.  :ohyeah:

I don't know.  If it came down to money, then the Mustang GT all the way, but the 370Z is really pulling at me...big time.  I would probably end up with the Mustang though.

none of the above actually

RX-8 is a sedan, and therefore doesn't count.

I never thought a car would start to take my attention away from the Mustang like the 370Z has.  I love that car.  Still the Mustang makes more sense for me because of price, 2+2 (for the kids), aftermarket parts availability and cost, and insurance rates.  However if price and kids weren't part of the equation, Nissan just might steal a sale from Ford.  I never thought I'd say that.

If anyone is really interested, my local dealer has a new SRT-8 Challenger metalic black with a 6 speed manual for sale at sticker price or below.... they have been sitting on it for at least 4 months now

370Z just seems too perfect. Maybe it's the wrong choice? Too bad.

Out of these...I'd go for the Genesis Coupe 2.0 Turbo Track.

I don't want the V6.

Tough choice between the 370Z and the Genesis Coupe 2.0.

Why wouldn't you want the V6?

MX793

Price, fuel economy and winter driveability ignored, I could see myself in any of them but the Challenger R/T.  Sorry, the car just doesn't appeal that much to me.

Factoring price, fuel economy and winter driveability (e.g. which of those would I actually end up purchasing), it would likely come down to the Genesis or Camaro (but in V6 guise, not the SS).  So I guess from the choices given, it would be the Genesis.

Oh, and why no 135i?  It's about the same price as an optioned up Z, Stang GT or SS.

I suppose if I had a warranty, I'd have to go with the V6, but the car is heavier, especially in the front, and less tunable.  Plus, who doesn't love a nice turbo whoosh?

The V6 Genesis Coupe weighs exactly 99 lbs more then the Turbo 4 and has an additional 90 hp.  Give me the V6 thanks.

Supposing the power-to-weight ratio is the same as the E46 M3, when are you really going to need to rip to 60 mph in under 5 seconds in a Hyundai?  The 4 banger does almost everything the V6 does, but it gets better gas mileage, and it makes the turbo whoosh.  Plus, it's a lot cheaper.

It's a low pressure turbo, I doubt it's making much "whoosh" unless you pump up the boost (and likely install a bigger compressor).

Turbo whoosh?  Since it's low pressure I doubt you'll ever hear it.  Besides...turbo whoosh?  That's what turns you on?

The same could be asked of a Subaru...

I'd just go with the turbo 4 because it's cheaper and honestly has enough power for me.
