You poor confused soul.

I just threw some cars together. There isn't much choice for $40K and 2009/2010 model year.

Smart?

You have seen one of these things, right?
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

I saw one today. Logically, it'll be perfect just to transport me and maybe another person back and forth to work without breaking the bank. Better than a Yaris or Aveo.

More expensive and less practical than either, and not even the gas mileage is significantly better. Plus, it has like a 70 inch wheelspan.

I really don't care.

Well I guess the "fact" that there's not much choice for under $40k might explain why car sales are so low

Pick one car for each category with a $40K limit on each vehicle from the 2009/2010 model years.

1. Daily Driver
2. Weekend Toy
3. Family Vehicle (must carry 4 people and all their luggage for a 1 week road trip)
4. Utility Vehicle

1.  BMW 128i - $37,750
2.  Honda S2000 - $36,760 OR Ford Mustang GT Convertible Premium - $32,966
3.  Volkswagen GTI 4 Door - $27,115
4.  Volkswagen Tiguan S - $25,836

Had some trouble making this list with new cars without having them all be Volkswagens.  Stupid Audi not offering the 2.0T TT with a manual anymore!  Forced me over to BMW.  And damn Volvo for cutting down the V50 range and only offering an automatic with the T5.

Those are built prices.  I took the $40K limit as a limit including options.
