Miata prices are seasonal more than anything.  I have seen awesome prices and prices I wouldn't touch if I had the money.

They are really hit or miss with being a good value.  Some people still think a 1990 base car with no AC and 140k miles can still command close to $5,000.  They're out of their minds.

A lot of car prices are seasonal. The best time to buy a lot of cars is in the fall. The applies to classic cars, convertibles, and other performance cars. People try to get rid of them because the weather isn't the best to drive them, so they will sell for less. The worst buying time is spring, since everyone is trying to buy a car to drive during summer, so sellers know they can raise prices.
