Auto sales. Still looking for the bottom

Fear of job loss isn't the only issue.  Many people became so overextended with debt that they can't make it financially even when they're fully emloyed.  I know a few people in that situation.

Correct and something else to worry about is a general deflation, which is a very real possibility. 

How is that bad?  Seems like a good idea for prices to drop.  Except that falling prices eventually means falling incomes which will really squeeze those with fixed debt payments which won't go down.
