If the Pronto Spyder and 300 Hemi C were produced, I don't think chrysler would be where it is.

A big, expensive convertible and a small, moderately expensive sports car.

Um, yeah... no. Chrysler are where they are because no one likes the Caliber, Avenger & Sebring.

Yeah, they'd be bankrupt.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

If it hadn't been for the "merger of equals" Chrysler wouldn't be where it is.

In the 90s they had the most competitive domestic product line-up, only marred by extreme cost cutting measures enacted by Bob Eaton (supposedly the Neon head gasket problems were a result of a decision he made that saved $2/car).

Yeah, but they wouldn't be looked down on as bad. Cars such as those would have caught young people and rich people's eyes.

But they'd have produced some cool cars. I would love a MR engine with the 2.4L..........turbo potential.

Sure.

That worked out well for Studebaker too.

Avantis are cool, but they didn't save the company. Studebaker needed a Mustang, or a Beetle, not something to go chasing after Aston Martins with.

The Holden Torana GTR-X

It would have been launched around the same time as the Datsun 240Z, with the same RWD/straight-six combination and a V8 to follow. Such a wasted opportunity.

Holy cartoons!  That's the coupe version of the Speed Racer car!

I believe Bob Eaton singlehandedly destroyed that company.

I also believe that Lee Iaccoca opened that floodgate for no other reason than not liking Bob Lutz -- contempt over confidence.
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

She'll hate diesel passenger cars, all things Ford, and fiat currency.  They will masturbate to old interviews of Ayn Rand an youtube together.
