Jeezus... I've never seen a 330 GT or a BMW Z1. Nice finds!  :ohyeah:

I actually saw THREE BMW Z1's today. One of them actually parks in the garage underneath my apartment. Behind the blue BMW Z1 you see ^above^ there is a lime-green BMW Z1 as well. I just didn't bother photographing it (and other Bentley Continental GT's) because I am so sick of them!

I don't blame you for not taking pictures of Continental GTs. I find them quite ugly personally.

Yep. They're pretty bland.

I just don't get excited anymore when I see one because I see them everyday - literally.

You'll love PART 4 by the way.  :praise:

I already saw all the lovely Quattroportes.

It really makes you wonder why anyone would buy a staid German sedan over one. Then you realize that the Maserati costs twice as much to buy and probably even more to maintain. Regardless, it would be worth it to me.

You know, if you really want to cruise up and down the streets of Munich (or Europe in general) in style. There is something far cooler than the Maserati Quattroporte.

Euro market Chrysler Saratoga!!!  Somebody actually bought one, eh?  You can tell this is an earlier model because it uses the North American Dodge Spirit grille.  Later ones used the North American Chrysler LeBaron sedan grille.

My money's on the guy riding the scooter!

.

Not a Defender, but what looks like a very early (1948-50) Series I 80-inch wheelbase model.  Notice how the headlights are covered by wire grilles?  That changed in 1950 when the grilles went away and the headlight bezels were pushed forward and became surrounded by chrome rings.  Originally, this car wouldn't have had front turn indicators.  The ones under the front bumper were added on by the owner at some point.  This one's right-hand-drive, so it presumably was a UK market car.  Sweet!!!

What's the German equivalent of Wal-Mart?  Because that's where they must have bought those awful cheapo-looking wheel covers.  A beautiful car let down by some horrible bits of plastic!

Modern exotics aren't exciting.

That Ferrari 330 though, now that is an exciting spot.  So is the BMW 8 series.

But I see a Bentley Continental everyday, and I always think "Hey, another guy with money and no taste or originality."

Madman beat me to it, in providing more detail on that Series One Land-Rover. What a find!

Original Alfa 155s are getting rare now - not that they were ever common outside Italy, even when new.

The last time I was in Italy I saw that the wealthy Italians all drove German and the normal Italians drove Italian or French cars. Finding a nice old Alfa, Fiat or Lancia there is rare.  :frown:
