The Caliber's a Hatch.


Besides, the Grande Punto is a Supermini that competes with the Corsa, Yaris, Fit. The Bravo is a C-segment more along the lines of the Caliber, Civic, Corolla segment.

For reference: The Latest Fit is 161 inches long. 3 inches LONGER than the Grande Punto.

It's very large and not very dynamic from what I can tell.  I've never driven an LX car, oddly enough.. 

The LX is partially based on the W210 E class (they share the rear suspension design, if not materials, as I recall), but there is also the LY chassis which is based on the LX and underpins the Dodge Challenger.

There's nothing wrong with the LX chassis. The biggest problems with the Charger/Magnum/300 is the tuning of the ancillary bits: springs, dampers, steering, etc.

i read recently about chrysler debating whether or not to begin building more 2009 models or start re-tooling plants and start building 2010 vehicles. re-tooling? i wonder what is in store for the 2010 model year for chrysler, dodge and jeep? it is my understanding that not much will change until the release a flood of new vehicles beginning in 2011 (i.e. jeep grand cherokee, fiat-based models, 300, charger). any news out there? friends from chrysler and detroit insiders are mum. i do know that 2010 will bring some changes to the ram, requiring re-tooling.

Sounds like it is a bit big for alfa then. Also, it needs to be very good in order to compete with the next gens MB's and BMW's.
