Except for the fact that Amy Winehouse is ruining her body, her voice and music is very good.

That "I've gotta feeling" song is actually really catchy.  They're really not that bad -- a little shallow songs -- but not bad.
A little shallow?  My Humps?

We need music like that. It gives 20 something year old girls music to dance and grind on us with. It has a purpose.

Since I'm married I have no use for music like that.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

Sorry about what?  That I don't need to listen to shitty shallow music like "My Humps" to get laid?  Don't be sorry for me dude.

You're being a bit harsh there.

I was just remarking about the obvious lack of strippers in your life.

EDIT: Paris Hilton is hot too, but her music is so bad her medium hotness can't nullify it.

Yeah, not really.

So do I, but she still likes the Black Eyed Peas and Fergie, so...

I'm not a fan of Paris Hilton, and I don't like the Jonas brothers, but the rest of them I have no problem with. I don't have to have every song i listen to be deep and meaningful. Sometimes shallow and danceable is fun.
Like a fine Detroit wine, this vehicle has aged to budgetary perfection...

I've got a woman too but I still like dumb music from time to time. I still like going to clubs and seeing young girls get nasty on the dance floor. And I still love having a stripper rub my junk for $20 from time to time.
If being married means I can't go and do stuff like that from time to time then I want no part of it.

Never said I can't.  I just don't.

"Artist" is charitable for many of the entries on that list. Paris Hilton and Jonas Brothers are merely executing other people's creative work.

Wimmer, you're an idiot. She's fat, but The Gossip is basically excellent. In fact, her being fat is part of it.

I think you must be gay. You miss the point on two talented artists, and then you like Yanni. ;)

I've heard the Gossip on YouTube - totally not my music. It doesn't win me over and Beth Ditto disgusts me. Seriously.

I'd hope so.

Really, alls you guys think about is sex and getting laid?

Black eyed peas and Lady Gaga is shallow, but people my age simply dance to this music.....all of my peers and friends in my area, at least.

When we hear these "shallow and talentless" songs we get out on the dance floor and kick it.

Soulja Boy I don't take seriously. However, "Kiss me through the phone" and "Soulja Girl" are really catchy.

Anyone a fan of that one song by Hurricane Chris? "She's Fine" is the name, it's the one where they're talking about Hally Berry (Using the phrase "Ms. Berry" all throughout the song). It's a catchy song that I don't mind hearing.

I used to like the Black Eyed Peas. Back in the day...

BEP was pretty cool when they recorded actual hip-hop songs. Then Fergie came along and the founding group became, essentially, back-up.

Totally l-a-m-e.

I like Nickelback.
I like a lot of their stuff, though they do have some shitty mindless songs like "Figured You Out", "The Next Contestant", and shit like that.  I've got no time for songs like those, but I like most of their stuff.  Their early stuff before "How You Remind Me" was easily their best work though.

Yeah, it seems like Will.i.am and Fergie just do all the singing now and the other two guys don't really do much.

Same here. But I don't have a problem with "Next Contestant" and the like. The songs that I'm not a fan of are the new ones. "Something in Your Mouth"? Really?
