E-Z-GO golf cart problems!

The headlights and tail lights just stopped working a few minutes ago.  I went for a drive an hour ago and they worked...now they don't.  Any clues?

Check for a loose connector somewhere in the wiring.  A plug may have wiggled loose.

I shall do that after I eat something.  I did that on the beach, but didn't see anything out of the ordinary.  I found that the reverse beeper had been undone...I unplugged it again.

You drive this on the beach?  Ocean (salt water) beach or freshwater lake?  Salt absolutely devours copper wiring if it gets inside the jacketing.

Ocean beach.  Water may have gotten into the wiring.  I never thought of that.

Time to remove the speed limiter and run it on racing fuel, or just replace the motor with a Hyabusa...

Tell me how to remove the speed limiter and I'll do it.  Also, I think I figured it out.  There's a connection on the negative battery terminal that came undone.  I'll try and fix it in the morning.

Removing the speed limiter is super easy on ez-go's.......
