No, not anymore.. it's a dedicated track car and weekend thing.  My mom was driving my RSX whenever she's in the country when I had the Rx8 but now that she's over in asia mostly, it's my DD now.

I'm getting old and my knee can't take it.  Plus, I don't want my coworkers at my new job knowing I have a Lotus.

It's a shame. Would you be interested in a car that is of very similar dimensions, but has a clutch so light that manipulation only requires a twitch of the pinky toe? It will certainly save your knee, if not your ego. I can hook you up.

I thought about the RSX-S when I was looking at cars a few years back... I've never been big into Honda, but I really like the RSX and appreciate them a lot more than the Integra, that ricer pile of shit.  RSX on the other hand is somehow more sophisticated, even though it is still a glorified Civic. ( I think... )

Maybe so, but I don't see anywhere near as many of them riced to the extent that you'd see an Integra.

Give it about 5 years when more used ones hit the market.  But I think there's less ridiculous body kits for the RSX as there are for the Integra.  q

I think you are on to something there. There really isn't a lot of gawdy looking crap available for it. Most of it looks alright even if it isn't your thing.

He has an RSX-S.
Oh.

Well he was talking about his knee so I was thinking he was talking about the RSX.

Integras are sweet cars, but yes they don't have the best image. I'm glad mine was a '92, which is older than most riced out ones.

Just saw a blue 2006 for sale. $15k for a 3-4 year old car is a tough pill to swallow though. Plus it had a hideously tall spoiler.

I like all Integra 3-doors, even the first generation.

I assume you're not talking about the stock one right?

I think it might have been an accessory as I have seen a similar one on many RSX-S. The weird thing is that it had the lip spoiler too.

This was technically a stock wing:

It was available as part of the "A-Spec" kit. The one in the picture may not be the same one we got though as the actual Type R one was very similar but a little higher (or so I'm told).

Edit: Heres a pic of an RSX with the full A-Spec kit (wheels, brakes, suspension, appearance):

That was it, I'll look at the car next time I drive by to see if it has the full package.

Yea the price on RSX-Ss, even 02s, is still incredibly steep IMO considering you have 6 spd TSXs dipping down into the under 10K range. You would be hard pressed to find an 02 RSX-S for under 10K.

The ifmeister. He wouldn't reveal his name a couple years back, so Raza and I started calling him Koko.

I know his name now, but to me he's still Koko.

Tell the full story.

What happened is that we started to guess his name, waiting for him to refute each one.  Then, one of us guessed Koko, and he didn't refute it.  Therefore, he is Koko.

And you only skim my reviews!?

They're far too expensive on the used market.  I looked at one briefly, and found newer, more lightly used Civic Si coupes and sedans for less money.  Ridiculous.  Shame, because I really like them.

You remember better than I.

Turns out I don't actually know his real name. Well, I do, but when I wrote that post I didn't. For some reason I thought it was Brandon; I realized over the weekend it's Brady. Oops!

Maybe it's better that I do call him Koko, because at least I'd be consistent. "Brandon, Brody... whatever the hell your name is!"

CSi IMO is the better buy with the revised suspension (for me at least. you can lower them w/o much consequence).

I def. prefer the RSX's more traditional looks in and out though.
