It sounded great until it's death.

It sounded great, though. Not much fuss with seizing, it simply stopped.

Ha, the actual failure is kinda anti-climatic.

I just added maybe 1/4 quart so my car wouldn't meet the same fate.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

It's been doing better lately.  I am taking it to Ohio next weekend.

I add oil 1 quart at a time. Any less than that means I have to carry an opened oil bottle in my vehicle.

I have a 5-quart jug.  I do what I want!

That reminds me: Have you checked your PCV valve? Excess crankcase pressure due to a clogged PCV system can cause oil leaks.

I would have parted it out.

You wouldn't have gotten $4500 for it.

Besides, the drivetrains are scrapped, but the rest of the car may be dismantled and used for parts. It depends on whatever salvage yard that buys it does with it.

I don't think I could let one of my cars die like that.

That was quick. It only took 10 seconds.

Doesn't speak well for the longevity of the AMC I6, does it?

And yeah, that's sad.  I sort of want an I6 Grand Cherokee.

That thing's definitely worth more than $4500.

There was a video of an E32 735i getting killed, it took 2 minutes to do it. Made me sad, I'd definitely rock that car. The M30 was a gem, too.
