Honda unveils Accord Crosstour

I don't like the Prius rear end at all.  The front is barely acceptable.

I like the Venza better.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

Good god, that is repulsive, at best.

Honda's designers must be smoking something very potent.

Absolutely dreadful. What's going on at Honda and Toyota in the design department? They can't even get the door handles right, where the fwd one is on the bodyline, and the rear one is below, making them look misaligned.

Venza wins this round by a landslide...

That is very stupid looking.

Yet they will sell a shitload of them "because it's a Honda".

It's better than I anticipated, but it still looks absolutely terrible. Why don't they make a regular 5-door?

Colin

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.

Having been repulsed by the execrable Acura ZDX, my expectations for the Honda sibling were not high. Congratulations to Honda for failing even to achieve that low target.

Truly revolting.

And, as someone has observed above, doubtless it will sell.

It does make me detest the X6 a whole lot less, though, as it is almost nice to look at in comparison to the Acura and Honda Horrors.

It'll sell well, just as the Venza has been a big hit, because it has good features and good value.

That Honda is one of the world's best automakers is icing.

I personally would have just preferred an AWD Accord, but apparently not much of a market for it.

No, they're both repulsive.  Honda and Toyota seem to be locked in a battle to see who can "out-ugly" the other.

JFC, that is fucking unbelievable.  I can tolerate the Venza - no beauty queen but I don't find it offensive.  But this is just unreal - what are they trying to achieve?  The back isn't bad, but the front and the profile, wow.  They're trying to get fancy with that complex, twisting character line, but they've failed big time.  And the window profile looks like it came out of 1982.  I don't really know about the specs of this vs. the Avenza, but it looks like the Venza has greater utility, which is why I guess it's selling (as some of you have said - I haven't seen many).  But this looks like a big 5 door hatch (with less utility than the Venza), which we know Americans don't really dig, and it looks like shit, so I really don't see how this is going to sell in decent numbers.  Worse looking than the ZDX, or whatever that's called, and that is no easy feat.

It makes me detest the X6 more, because if it weren't for that abomination, this wouldn't have been made, as it is Honda's recent goal to ape BMW's looks.

It seems that the Acura design team has finally decided to share its potent pharmaceuticals with Honda design team.

This thing is about as attractive as Rosie O'Donnell.

Toyota must be rolling with laughter right about now.

This car is extremely curvacious. I'm just not used to this type of design from Honda, which always seemed to have a clear focus on sharp, angular and boxy design cues. Their newer cars sort of retained this design style but this is a complete departure. Interesting. I don't know what to make of it. Seeing something like this in real life is always the best way to see if it looks good or not.

The Venza is actually attractive, IMO.

nickdrinkwater

WTF is that.  I hope they don't sell it in Europe.

afty

I actually like the look of the Venza.  But this Honda is flat-out ugly.

Pommes-T

That's absolutely horrible.

That'S what they should be selling:
