Not just any Solstice... it's got a flux capacitor and a "Mr. Fusion".

Wow, the first time I saw this thread, I didn't realize that they were taking over the Solstice plant. I just thought that DMC was horribly unoriginal with their design.

Raza

Well, at least it looks better than the Solstice.  Still not as good as the Sky.

If it weren't for the funky top action and my neurosis, I'd be all over a Sky.

I think she was sitting between them, straddling the shifter. Don't ask where the e-brake handle was...

She was on his lap.

This pic is just showing the two different Jennifer actors but you get the idea.

Am I the only person who thinks the Sky looks like shit and the Solstice looks better?

You aren't alone.

I love the back end of the Solstice, the front is ok

I hate the back end of the Sky, the front is pretty good

Eye of the Tiger

That's funny, because I prefer the rear of the Sky, and the front of the Solstice.

I like the Sky better all-around.

And no, this is not the start of a Saturn troll here. I just think it looks better.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

I like my plastic body panels, thanks.

For a 1995 car, my Saturn looks absolutely fantastic.

Vinsanity

This is a Delorean thread. Stainless steel bodies only

That said, a stainless steel Sky in a hardtop gullwing body style would fit the bill nicely.

the Teuton

That would be a little heavy, wouldn't it?

Let's face it: The SolSky was a smaller, lighter, probably better-engineered Corvette that was a little space, a little refinement, and a bit of power away from being a really awesome car.

As it is, I'm sure a fair amount of ideas learned with the Kappa cars will be implemented into the C7 Corvette.
