Depending on price, that could be a good deal.

So quality is affected by color?

I admit some of those higher end trucks seem to have nice interiors, and no, I didn't know about them, and yes, I think the idea of wood and "luxury" features in a pickup are a bit incongruous, but whatever.  People seem to like trucks for one of two reasons: they like that they are rugged and able to do dirty work or they like the perception that they are rugged and able to do dirty.  I don't care about either, so if you'd like to claim some sort of great victory here, feel free to do so.  I'll continue not caring.

But that Silverado's interior still looks like crap.

I agree that the Volkswagen's interior has quite a bit of plastic; but it has quality that you can see in the pictures.

Nah, it's par for the course as far as compact-midsize pickups go. In fact it reminds me a lot of my grandmother's old Tacoma (I believe someone else mentioned the Hilux too).

The Dodge and Ford interiors look good.

The Cadillac and Silvarado interiors suck.

The plastic used for the centre console looks cheap even in pictures.

When people are towing their $80,000 fifth wheels around the country they want to be riding in luxury.  And Ford has no less then 4 luxury trim levels of the F-350 for that duty.  They have Lariat, FX4, Harley-Davidson, King Ranch, and Cabela's.  Here's a couple examples:

That dash looks so fucking stupid.

Yeah, it looks comfortable, but that dash looks as though it were out of a cartoon.
