That's what it should be, but I guess less feeling will be hurt if we just vote on cars most of us have never even driven before.

Barely.  Besides there would be over 20 categories if we separated everything into tiny micro categories.

2010 Pickup of the Year
Chevrolet Silverado
I'll put it on, but it's definitely subpar to the Ram and the Ford trucks.

Yes.  Worst...naming scheme....ever!

I disagree. GM seems to have fixed its major flaw of crash safety, and it now strikes a fine balance between the comfort/refinement of the Ram and the utility of the F-150.

Well, speaking as someone who has spent his entire life driving, owning, and living amongst trucks where they are used for logging, ranching, construction, and small businesses, I would have to disagree.  Virtually every truck in the area that's owned by a logging company or construction company is a Ford or a Dodge.  However, Chevy's are more popular as personal pickups.  But the way I see it, Ford or Dodge build better trucks for what they are intended.

The 911 was updated for 2010, wasn't it?

Before I put this one in there, can you tell me why?  The 3.8 is the exact same car but faster and it's already on the list.

Raza

I can't say as to why he thinks the Genesis 2.0T should be in there (it's really burdened by the weight of the car), but I'd like to nominate the Camaro V6.

I don't think the latest Ram is designed for logging companies.

Xer0

I'd nominate the 370Z into the sports/GT car under 40k.

Let me be specific:

I nominate the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 as a better overall vehicle than the Ram 1500 or Ford F-150.

IMO you're still wrong, but just so you know, logging companies don't buy 1/2 tons.

Out of the three, I think the F-150 is the better sports coupe.

Then why, when I mentioned the Silverado in comparison to an F-150, did you bring up logging companies?

I also mentioned small businesses and construction companies, who both buy 1/2 tons as well as heavy duty pickups.  Silverados are more popular as personal pickups, whereas in my experience, Ford and Dodge are more popular with business who actually use them for what they are designed for.

I don't think I've seen any Rams used in construction work since the redesign. It seems to have moved more personal than the Silverado. (Silverados dominate the state of Maryland's pickup fleets, by the way.)

Since the redesigned Ram Heavy Duty has only been on the market for several weeks, I'm not surprised.  As for the 1/2 ton Ram, it's definitely more popular as a personal truck then a work truck, and I think it does a better job at being a personal truck then the Silverado as well...especially with that super smooth riding suspension.  Personally, I think the best pickup would always be a heavy duty pickup if they were judged on their merits as trucks rather then personal use vehicles.

Why is the M3 limited to the coupe?

It's in the Sports/GT category.  Two doors.

Well at least throw the cabrio in there. Personally I'd let the sedan in there too, just because it doesn't fit into any other category.
