I'm throwing the RX-8 into the mix. Old car but it should get one or two votes from me and Rotor.

370Z,  I've been looking at that wide awesome backside doing the GT5 time trial challenge for some time now.

Next year, if the other cars don't change, it will be the Mustang (if they can keep it under 40K fully loaded).

This year I reluctantly give my vote to the 370Z.

Raza

Wow, other people voted for the Camaro V6?  I thought I'd be the only one!

I figured it deserved a vote since it shows that a muscle car can still perform even without a V8.

Between the MX5 and 370Z, I had to go for the 370Z.

I'm also surprised that the 370Z is running away with this. By far the ugliest and it's not even particularly exciting to drive.  Good, but never really too pulse raising.  On top of that, it's also very expensive and insulting.

Toss-up for me between the Camaro and the 370Z.

In hindsight I'd go G37C if it were available, but will nominally vote for the 370Z.

I'm not really blown away by any of the choices

The Camaros/Challengers are just too big, and the Stang is long overdue for a huge overhaul. MX-5 is nice but too slow for me and the Genesis botched a lot of important details. I'm not really a big fan of the 370Z but of these cars it's the best match for me.

hotrodalex

370Z just doesn't do anything for me. Not particularly good looking, not a stand out driver, doesn't do anything new (other than that dumb rev matcher).

I wouldn't buy any of them. But I had to pick something so it was the 370.

The MX-5 and the 370Z are the only two that really interest me. If I had thought of it, I'd have nominated the 135i.

The MX-5 I understand, it's a great car.  The 370Z is very good, technically, but like the 350Z, it fails to deliver the thrills it should.  But at least the 350Z was good looking.  The 350Z is like the first generation Audi TT in that sense.  I know it's technically a good car, and it's good to drive, but not really good enough; however, it looks so good that I still want one.

The 370Z doesn't photograph well.  The ones I've seen in person are sexy.  I don't like it in pictures much at all.

Onslaught

I think the 370 looks much better than the 350.  They just need to change the door handles.

The door handles are part of the history and heritage of the car.

I dunno about calling the synchro rev match thing dumb...

It's dumb.

Dunno why it's dumb when it blips the throttle exactly as needed when you turn it on? I'm pretty sure even as enthusiasts, there are a handful if any members around here who can perform a perfect heel and toe rev matched downshift every turn.

No, but that's why it's dumb.  You don't improve your skills if you use it.

You know there's a button to turn it on and off right?

No, synchro rev match not dumb. If any critique can be had it's that it's a stop-gap for a proper DSG/SMG type transmission.

That's why I said "if" you use it.
