My first impression was that he must have killed his clutch, but no actually.  It was slick enough that the wheel-spin took the stress out of the drive-line and gave the semi just enough help to get moving again.

It appears the truck just needed alittle nudge.

About equal to 15 guys pushing from behind is all it would have taken, i imagine the subie was in front or a few cars in front when the truck got hung up(you can see alot of backed up trafic behind the truck).

Yea if it was dry something would have broken. Also I don't think that was an STi, just a regular wricks. Still a pretty cool vid though.
