Actually, the more I see this, the more I like it.  It makes those giant headlamp subcompacts look a little silly.

Ah.  That's too bad.  The current model is not compelling.  Other makers have much nicer offerings.

I probably won't buy one (by the time I'm ready for a new daily, I'll be on to bigger and better things), but I really hope it succeeds.  It looks a lot better than a lot of superminis that have headlights stretching across the car to meet the taillights.

I agree Raza.  I hope it and the Fiesta really succeed though I won't be buying either of them.  My next car is something with a V8.

I could easily settle with getting 44 mpg (as recorded by Motor Trend) for a daily driver, but have you seen the weather here lately? If I'm going to be living up north for a while, I'm going to want to have my AWD back pretty soon.
